Aubree's Dance Recital

Here is Aubree in her dance costume and makeup...........

Yesterday we got to see Aubree and about another 200+ girls and boy in their dance recital. They did such an awesome job and what fun it was to watch. It is amazing at such an early age that they have no fear dancing in front of hundreds of people watching. It was at the Middle School and it was full - bleachers, chairs, etc. - Not to mention they have two shows. All of the kids did a great job and I can't wait to see what they do next year. Erin is a great teacher and works so well with all the kids. Aubree loves to dance, sing, play guitar, etc. in front of people. Someday maybe she will come out of her shell and be a little more outgoing. (Ha Ha)
We were so proud of her!

Aubree Gets a Horse

Aubree has wanted Papa to get a horse for quite some time. Here is the best we are going to do. We gave it to Aubree in her "Easter Basket". She just loved it. Last night while I was at a photography class, Papa hung it in the tree by the pond and Aubree couldn't wait to get on and ride. What fun!

Here is a shot so you can see the horse swing - Isn't it awesome. I just couldn't resist when I saw it - Nana is a pushover.

A little trick riding,.....

And of course the evening wouldn't be complete without some playing in the sand. She loves when we bury her in the sand.

Shopping

Today was a crazy day. I started by getting up at 3:00 am. (I couldn't sleep and had lots to do.) I got up, finished three appraisal reports, hair, makeup, etc, went to a funeral at 10:00, another appraisal inspection east of Stetsonville and then off to Eau Claire. (I said when I broke my leg it would only slow me down not stop me. I would go crazy if I couldn't leave the couch.) As you all know, my latest accessory is this beautiful new boot and these shiny metal crutches. By the time we got to Eau Claire and were walking around, I started to get pooped - so take a look at my new wheels. I used it a few weeks ago when we went to Sam's and we forgot to take the camera, so Lorin made sure it was with today. He loves to make fun of me driving. (I have to admit, if it went a little faster it could be a lot of fun - but I probably would break my other leg.) Well it's not the TT but it is a convertible.

By the way - I went to the doctor on Thursday. New X-rays, etc. All is doing fine. I can start putting pressure on my leg. Oh and I forgot to mention. For some reason in my earlier blogs I said I broke my ankle - not correct. I actually broke my leg in three places (down near my ankle). Must have been the vicadin talking. Anyway, no surgery, and I should be back in real shoes in no time (well another couple of months).

Crazy Dog

Yes - this is Annie's butt. She has been acting goofy all day. I am not sure why, but all day today she kept sleeping like this. Her head and front paws are laying flat on the floor or couch and her butt and back legs are up. I tried to get a better picture, but by the time I would get to the camera (I am not moving very fast these days) she would look at me and lay down, but at least I got this one.

Eagle

While out on appraisals a couple of weeks ago, Lorin and I spotted this eagle in a tree and he looked so regal we had to stop and take a pic.

Heather and Aubree

I am sitting on the couch - which by the way is now my home - and looking for something to post. I took this photo a couple of months ago and never posted it. I just love it. I always like candid shots so much better than a pose. I love how sweet and close they look. What a special connection with mother and daughter.
