Fun with Aubree

The other day Aubree came to spend some time with Nana and Papa. There is always so much to do when she is here. She decided to try fishing in the pond again. Papa went to buy different worms. Here he is casting for Aubree. (I should have posted a close up because Lorin is fishing with a kids - short- pink - Barbie - fishing pole.)

Tonite the fish were biting. Here is Aubree reeling in a fish. It must be a big one......

Here is the big fish. She actually caught several fish that night. Then she decided we had fished enough. So we played in the sand..... Rolled down the hill..... Checked the flowers...... Checked under the mulch for worms..... Tested the water in the pool......(She really wants to swim but the weather is just not cooperating). And then it just isn't a complete day with Nana and Papa without.....

A trip in the little car. Aubree and Nana rode in the Audi and Papa rode with Heather and Morgan. (Isn't he a good Papa). Aubree loves to ride with the top down. If it is cold she turns the seat on, turns up the heat and she has even been known to cover up with a blanket, but the top has to be down.

And this is was our big trip......Go get ice cream...... She has a lot of Papa's genes in her.

As always, spending time with her is such a wonderful thing. Have I mentioned that grandkids are great?

Correction...grandchild. You only have one. Did you forget?? However, you spoil her so much you would swear she is five kids. I have a feeling that ten years from now she is going to be convincing her Nana and Papa to give her that little car. She would look cute driving it :) Oh wait....Aubree 16....YIKES. I don't like that idea. I would just like to enjoy her 5 for now.

John and I took a ride in the Jeep with the top down the other day and I also turn up the heat and cover up. Aubree is one lucky little girl to have a Grandma and Grandpa that spend so much time with her.

My favorite is Annie's face in the photo with the car. She's looking at you like "Seriously Mom? You're seriously going to take a picture of this? *sigh* And they think they're the more evolved species...." LOL

Love ya!!!! xoxoxoxxo
